LOCKMER

ALBERT JOSEPH

A warm and funny guy who lit up every room with his humor and kindness passed away peacefully. He was the beloved husband to Felecia Johnson Lockmer; and a beloved father of Matthew A. Lockmer.

Born to the late George and Nancy Lockmer, Albert is survived by his siblings, John Slat, Jo Ann Zeuger (wife of the late George Zeuger); his brother, George Lockmer, and his wife, Kay; and his twin brother, William Lockmer, and his wife, Jeanne. Also survived by nieces and nephews Stacey, Jeff, Susan, Kimberly, Michael, the late Pamala, Leigh Ann, the late Kelly, Jennifer, Jeff, Greg, Karen, Bryan, and Eric.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Slat (wife Cecilia); and his sister, Nancy Slat.

Albert loved watching the local Pittsburgh sports teams and shared many memorable Pirate and Penguin games with his twin brother, William. He had a natural gift for consultative selling, active listening, and transparency, which led to a long and successful career in insurance marketing.

His warmth, wit, and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11 AM, at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
