ALBERT W.
Albert W. Weigand, of Gibsonia, on September 18, 2025. Born March 22, 1937, in Pittsburgh, to the late George and Elizabeth (Brown) Weigand. Beloved husband of Thelma (Stellfox), who he married on February 11, 1958. Loving father of Albert, Jr. (Christina), George (Christine), Michael (Elizabeth), Andrew (Donna), David (Jackie), Patty (Tim) Bittle, Larry (Carol) and Wayne (Angela); and father figure to his niece, Debra Braden. Brother of the late Mary Andrews, James Weigand, Elizabeth Braden and Dorothy Tedesco. Proud grandfather of 22 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Al was owner of Weigand Contracting, which was founded in 1972. An active and founding member of St. Richard Church, Al used his talents in many projects in the completion of the church grounds and building. As well as being a long-time supporter of Hosanna Industries. A cherished father and grandfather, he was always ready to listen, give advice, and lend a helping hand.
Friends received Sunday, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, Monday, Sts. Martha and Mary Parish in St. Richard Church. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.
