ALICE K. (STOLAR)

Age 95, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Abbott. Dear mother of Robert (Stacey) Abbott, Dino (Julia) Abbott, Belinda (Dave) Waters, and Melissa Abbott. Loving grandmother of ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Sister of Catherine Di Gregory, Marion Jurczyk, and Thomas Stolar. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jessie Stolar; and nine brothers and sisters. Alice was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters of America. She was very active with Sharing and Caring for Veterans, an organization that helps injured and disabled veterans. Alice volunteered over 60 years with numerous veteran associations. Family and friends are welcome. Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., PA 15220 (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in SS Simon & Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish.
