Upper St. Clair, PA - Ali Bode, 38, of Upper St. Clair, PA, died at home on September 10, 2025. The daughter of Rick and Leslie Bode and sister of Megan Bode Baldwin (Matt), Ali was a loyal, kind, astonishingly intelligent young woman who worked hard to put forth her best effort in many different roles and endeavors. Ali graduated as the valedictorian of the Upper St. Clair High School Class of 2005, also earning the WPIAL Scholar-Athlete Award that year. She later excelled as a student-athlete at Harvard University, where she earned a degree in Economics, set school records on the golf course, and was elected golf team captain. Following her graduation, Ali worked as an analyst for Dicks Sporting Goods before opting to pursue higher education toward a medical degree. In finding that her true passion was caregiving and helping others, Ali ultimately found a calling as a firefighter for the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department. There, she enjoyed the community outreach, ability to assist others in their time of need, and the camaraderie of her colleagues. In her spare time, Ali loved golf, ski trips to Alta, Utah, and relaxing on the beach in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Perhaps her greatest joy stemmed from her love for her twin nieces, Emma and Charlie. Ali was immensely proud to be their aunt, often sharing stories about and photos from their time together. Her entire family is heartbroken that Ali was unable to overcome her profound struggles with treatment-resistant depression, despite her significant and tireless efforts to find balance and peace. For that reason, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department are respectfully requested so that her legacy of helping others may continue.

Ali was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Hope and Jim Keogh, and Fred, Helen, and Lori Bode. She is survived by her parents, sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her daily and relentlessly.
