SORCE

ANNA FRANCIS SCIULLO

On May 16, 2026, Anna Francis Sciullo Sorce, age 94, of Hampton Township, passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Nino" Sorce; daughter of the late Francesco and Anna "Honey" Sciullo; sister of the late Amico and Lillian Sciullo, the late Carl and Mary Sciullo, and Jeanette and the late James Ruffing.

She was the devoted mother of Thomas and Tina Sorce, Anthony and Maureen Sorce, Steven and Ellen Sorce, Lisa and Bob McQuillan, Linda Sorce and Todd Meals, Valerie Leya, and Gina and the late Mark Krstonich. She was the beloved Gramma to 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Ann was the matriarch of the Sorce family. She hosted every holiday and countless celebrations in her home. She created the foundation of our family traditions, especially Christmas Eve. She cooked for an army and delighted in the many shopping bags full of gifts for each grandchild, which she thoughtfully collected throughout the year.

She was immensely proud of her children, fiercely supporting them through every stage of life. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren, whose love for her was immeasurable and whose love she returned unconditionally. Her great-grandchildren were precious gifts. Each one received a hand-crocheted baby blanket as a symbol of her love, and, always planning ahead, she lovingly made many more blankets for future great-grandchildren yet to come.

Ann was a talented seamstress who made communion dresses, clothing, and drapes with great care and skill. She dedicated herself not only to her family but also to helping others in need whenever she could.

Although we are heartbroken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing she is once again in the arms of our dad and her beloved husband, Nino. After seventy years of marriage, they can now rest peacefully, knowing their family will carry on the lessons, traditions, and love they instilled in all of us.

We love you, Mom and Grandma, with all our hearts. Now you can rest with your Nino. Yours was a life well lived and a job well done. God bless you, Mom.

Friends received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Thursday from 9-11 a.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Blessing services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.

Special thanks from our family to Concordia of Cranberry administration and staff and the wonderful job they did taking care of our mother over the last year plus. Special thanks to Shelly, the nurses, and the aides; you are like family to us.

We would also like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice services, especially Kaitlyn and Rae Lynn.
