ANNA MAE (KOVALY, TOOMEY)
Anna Mae (Kovaly, Toomey) Hornak, formerly of Forest Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Timothy Toomey and her second husband, Vincent Hornak. She is survived by her loving children Timothy (Patty) Toomey, Ann (Stuart) Gaul, and Jean (Bryan) Williams. Adored by her grandchildren Hannah, Mia, Elizabeth, Luke, and Joanna. Dear friend to Susan Flynn. Daughter of the late William and Anna Kovaly and sister of the late Cecilia Pascoe. She graduated valedictorian from East Pittsburgh High School and retired from The Children's Institute. She cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with her husband Vince. She loved the United States and the ideals that it stands for. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Children's Institute, 1405 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217. She is dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Memorial service will be held on THURSDAY, July 9 at 11:30 a.m. at Hebron Church, 10460 Frankstown Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
