On June 30, 2023, Ann K. Gibson of St. Petersburg, FL died at the age of 90. Ann was born in Rochester, PA to Rev. Paul N. Schnur and Lauretta K. Schnur. She attended Wittenberg University from 1953-55 and received an A.A. degree from Miami-Dade Community College in 1991.

Ann and Bruce Gibson married in 1956 and had three children. Alongside her career, Ann was devoted to the women's organizations of the Lutheran Church, choral music, and led Learn to Read Volunteers of Miami for many years. After retiring, she kept busy with handicrafts and enjoyed time with her family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Bruce A. Gibson, and her sister Nancy Lou Griggs. Ann is survived by her three children, Hope Beall, Faith Gibson, Rev. Paul Gibson, and their spouses, by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and by cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
