FEARS

ANNE H.

Anne H. Fears, 91, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully March 6, 2026, at her home. She was born November 13, 1934, in Elizabeth, Louisiana, daughter of the late Isaac Braxton and Ella Mae (Porcher) Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clois D. Fears, her brother, John Braxton Williams, and her sister, Mary Margaret Ross.

Anne grew up near the border between Louisiana and Texas and claimed to be Texan by the grace of God. Though she spent over 60 years in Pennsylvania, she was a southern belle through and through. She was gracious, kind, and welcomed many into her home and heart. She was a long-term member of Mother of Sorrows Church and sang in the choir as the soprano soloist for decades. Anne enjoyed acts of service and volunteered with several charitable organizations including Meals on Wheels and various thrift shops. She loved family beach vacations, having lunch with her ladies, laughing with her friends from Curves and Dean's Gym, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her three children, Jane (Craig) Viti of Fox Chapel, John (Jeanine) Fears of Philadelphia, and W.P. Fears of Murrysville; and her four grandchildren, Jack, Liliya, Cole, and Rose.

A Funeral Mass for Anne will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County in Anne's name.
