Passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 97. Born June 1, 1929, in Morgantown, WV, to Milford and Hazel Spacht. Arlene was married to the late Charles (Bob) Ryan for 72 years. Bob and Arlene had three daughters, Cheri Blum (Richard), Debbie Barbarita (Michael), and the late Paula Perfetti; five grandchildren, Melissa Khoury (George), Jeffrey Barbarita (Suzy), Amy Adelman (Brett), Christopher Barbarita (Scott Copley), and Mathew Ryan; five great-grandchildren, Luke Adelman, Jake Adelman, Michael Barbarita, Westin Khoury, and Myla Khoury. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private. Donations in Arlene's honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association's Pittsburgh office, 100 W. Station Square Drive, #1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Arrangements entrusted to the LEO J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, Carnegie.
