Arlene L. (Meyers) Bayer, age 87, of Allentown/ Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Bayer. Loving mother of Roberta (Paul) Dalton, Jeffrey (Marcia) Bayer, Andrew (Mary) Bayer, Amy (the late Jim) Graney, Mary (Dan) Giles and Jonathan (Lisa) Bayer. Cherished Gram of Jenni, Jonathan (Jaime), Emily, Brenden (Kate), Joshua, Rebecca (Tom), Andrew, Daniel (Kate), Nicholas, Jessica (Josh), Rachel (Chris), Amanda (Rob), Nicole (Kevin), Ashley (Nathan), Jonah, Brooke and Cole. Loving "Cookie Grandma" to Brooks, Sydney, James, Wolfgang, Max, Hunter, Clara, Archer, Cecelia, Trevor, Scarlett, Emil, Rosie, Peter, Piper, Adeline, Warren, Penelope, Nathaniel, Gemma, Brooks and Annie. Beloved daughter of the late Bernard and Marie (Gruendl) Meyers. Loving sister of Lorraine (Bill) Lukasiewicz, Patricia (Allan) Dalton, Bernard (Patrice) Meyers and David (Peggy) Meyers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arlene retired after 30 years of service at St. Clair Hospital as the Director of Patient Accounts. Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at WM. SLATER & SONS INC. (412-381-3345), 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington, PA 15211. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mary Queen of Peace Parish, 403 Grandview Ave., Mt. Washington, PA 15211. Burial to follow in St. John Vianney Cemetery, 920 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15210. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the The Parkinson's Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 850 Cranberry Woods Dr., Suite 2222, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
