Age 97, of Shaler Township, on October 29, 2025.

Wife of the late Paul F. Kelly. Mother of Kathy Born (Bill), Patty Wilkerson (Bob) and Paul Kelly (Debbie). Grandmother of Nick Born (Amber), Ben Born, Amber Born (Roy), Bobby Wilkerson (Nora), Kelly Wilkerson, Sean Kelly and Megan Kelly. Great-grandmother of Ashlynn. Sister of the late Gerard and Charles Hahn.

Mel was a proud supporter of all Pittsburgh Sports teams - especially the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates - she brought that same passion and loyalty to cheering on her beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. Growing up, Mel enjoyed playing volleyball. In her later years, she found joy in her card club and meeting with her friends. She was also a proud longtime member of the Sarah Heinz House.

No Visitation. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 10 A.M., at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church. Everyone please meet at church.
