Age 82, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Pittsburgh. Barbara leaves behind her son, Doug (Mary Ann); brother, James (Rosanne); grandson, Nicholas; and various delightful nieces and nephews. She was a fan of wildlife, the Steelers, Pittsburgh rare steaks, and strong martinis - in no particular order. Her sarcastic sense of humor hid a generous heart. She was a divorced mom when it was scandalous, anti-racist before the term was invented, an excellent seamstress, prolific with a crochet needle, and famously lavish with the hundreds of dozens of Christmas cookies she baked for friends and family all her adult life. Bud and Grace are proud.
