BARBARA E.
On January 16, 2026, Barbara E. Pollitt, age 78, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully, in Fort Myers, Florida. She was the beloved wife of Edward W. Pollitt; mother of Denise (John) Capek, Deanna (Robert) Schiffhauer and Valerie (Daniel) Cvitkovic; and grandmother of Saige and River Capek, Harper Schiffhauer and Kaden, Brandon and Ashlyn Cvitkovic. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Harry C. and Gertrude (Holzer) Eback; and her brother, Donald Eback.
Barbara served faithfully as the organist at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 20 years. She was also employed by U.S. Steel Chemical / Mitsubishi for many years.

A Funeral Service has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
