BARBARA J.
Age 79, of Verona, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Verna and Warren McMillen. Beloved wife of the late Wayne McGovern. Loving mother of William McGovern and Christy (Edward) Watts. Mimi of Connor Philpott and Cayleigh Watts. Sister of Ann Follette. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousin; and her beloved cat, Besh.
Barb loved studying and looking at astrology and genealogy. She worked as a business manager for over 20 years and then enjoyed retirement with her late husband, Wayne, and later enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 3-7 p.m., at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
Burial will be at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
