BARBARA JEAN (HOFFMAN)


Age 90, of Canonsburg, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Otto Szabo, Jr.; sister of the late Marge Gibson and Herman Hoffman; loving mother of Joseph (Judi) Szabo, Daniel (Darcie) Szabo, Mary Ann (the late Michael) Bradburn, Margaret (Paul) Caske, Christopher (Karen) Szabo and Timothy (Stacy) Szabo; cherished grandmother of Alex, Daniel, Zachary and Dawn Miller and Michael, Jr. and Matthew Bradburn and Melissa Szabo; and great-grandmother of Zori, Walker, Hazel Szabo and Kelly Bradburn. Barbara's great joy in her life was her family. She adored being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Barbara will be remembered for her kind heart, devout Catholic faith and most of all, love for her family. She will be dearly missed by all. Family and friends are welcome Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, (724-941-3211). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church (everyone meet at church). Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
