BARBARA K. (KICIELINSKI)
Age 78, originally from the South Side, currently of North Hills, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Born as the only child to the late Edward and Gertrude (Siwik) Kicielinski.
Beloved wife for 55 years of Robert Ranker; loving mother of Pamela Kanai (Brian) and Marcia Ranker; grandmother of April Kanai.
Barbara was a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) and loved traveling the country to enjoy different roller coasters. She was a graduate of St. Adalbert High School, attended Duff's Business School and worked for many years as a secretary at ALCOA, before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
Family will welcome friends on Monday, February 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, PA 15229. Visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite amusement park shirts to the visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Theresa of Avila Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to American Coaster Enthusiasts Preservation Fund, www.aceonline.org/page/preservation or Special Olympics, www.specialolympics.org.
