Barbara M. Mauder, 86, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on October 5, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1939, to the late Francis and Stella Filek.
Barbara enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved to be outside to tend her garden, go bowling, shopping or out to eat with her friends and family, and could often be found playing bingo or a slot machine. She loved exploring and going on vacation when she could find the time as well as going anywhere she could Polka dance. Above all, the time spent with her grandchildren and family was Barbara's most treasured activity.
Barbara is survived by her loving children Bambi (Greg) Friedman and Glenn (Julie) Mauder; beloved grandchildren Charlotte (Ray), Gregory (Monique), Erica, Brad, Glen, Alyssa and Alexa; and cherished great-grandchildren Joshua, Gianni, Mason, Carson, Bryson and Connor; her loving pet Snowball; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Glenn E. Mauder; her parents Francis and Stella Filek; and her siblings Frank Filek and Beatrice Row.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
