BARRY DAVID

Age 80, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away, on April 30, 2025, at his home. Barry graduated from South High School. He worked as a programmer for PNC and then ended his career in banking with Bank of New York Mellon.

Barry will be remembered for his sharp wit, engaging personality, gift for storytelling and love of animals. He was known for his deep knowledge, lively conversations and the joy he found in spending time with family. Barry also had an appreciation for cinema and a life-long passion for the outdoors, both of which brought him great happiness and inspiration.

He is survived by his children: Dean Budd (Joann), Barry Budd II (Mary), Richard Budd, Rachael Budd, Laura Budd (Zachary Garfinkel) and Sarah Budd (deceased). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amanda Comstock (Robert), Madison Budd (Nate Olson), Justin Budd (Nikki), Connor Budd, John "Jack" Budd (Arianna) and Everleigh Garfinkel. In addition, he leaves behind great-grandchildren: Penelope, Cayden, Eva, Albus, Clementine, Lydia, Benedict, Chloe and one more, Budd, expected soon. Barry is also survived by his friend and former spouse, Grace Budd.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mildred Budd; his brother, Robert Budd; and his daughter, Sarah Budd.

Friends and family will be received for Visitation on Saturday, May 3, from 1:00- 3:00 P.M. and 4:00-6:00 P.M. and Sunday, May 4, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., located at 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236, on the following dates and times:

A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, May 4, at 12:00 P.M., in the funeral home chapel immediately following Visitation.
