BARRY KENNETH

Of Shaler Twp., age 81, passed away peacefully, on Monday, June 16, 2025. Beloved husband of 25 years of Catherine "Cathy" A. (Grabiak) Bowser. Loving father of Barry Bowser, Jr. (Joy) of SC, Lisa Ball of Natrona Heights and Scott Bowser (Dana) of Natrona Heights. Stepfather of Marla Harris (Greg) of Wexford and Bobbi Rae Hank. Loving grandfather of Tiffany, Ashley, Jacob, Nick, Stephen and Patrick. Preceded in death by his children, Maureen Bowser and Stephen Bowser. Barry was born in Center Hill, Armstrong County, on March 5, 1944, the only child of Kenneth and Ruth (Sipes) Bowser. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in history and enjoyed drawing, playing guitar, speaking Spanish and discussing sports. Barry served as an associate pastor at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Lincoln-Lemington and he also served St. Peter's Spring Garden United Church of Christ. Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, 121 Colorado Street, Verona PA 15147, on Tuesday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Barry's memory may be given the charity of your choice.
