BEATRICE "LORI"
Peacefully our beautiful, loving sister embarked on her everlasting journey... Bea did not have to climb that stairway, as she earned her wings here on earth. So, with much anticipation, gracefully glided in marvel of all the beauty of her new home.
As Bea meandered the journey, she sometimes jumped clouds for exercise, while at other times lay her head on the pillowy clouds for rest. Traveling on she came upon a path on which she could hear celebratory cheers; this must be the way she thought. So she picked up her pace, just like all her marathons, to see what all the acclamation was about, as she turned the last bend along the path, to her pleasure, she saw her two brothers and sisters leading the cheers... Sis, Joe, Liz, and Richard; and of course Mom and Dad, Bea and Steve, whom she missed dearly. Elated and blissful to join them, she quietly looked behind and said, "love you, be safe, it is not goodbye - just see you later."
Bea was a rare blend of warmth and willpower. Her generosity was matched only by her discipline, which allowed her to serve as a steady anchor for her family and everyone she touched, while her genuineness made her approachable and enduring. It was her resilience that made her a real force of nature. What made her truly remarkable was the authenticity of her soul. She offered warm compassion that felt like a sanctuary - a place for others to land in a cold world. Despite the challenges she faced, she refused to let life make her bitter; instead, her resilient spirit turned her own struggles into a bridge of understanding for others. She chose to be kind every single day, proving that her compassion was not just a fleeting feeling, but a dedicated and beautiful way of life.
She is survived by brothers, Steve of NY, James (Elaine), Dave (Jackie), and Martin; sister, Mary Ann; 27 nieces and nephews; 50 great nieces and great-nephews; and countless dear friends. Donations can be made to Lutheran Society Senior Center or a Senior Organization or Charity of your choice. We will celebrate Bea's life on Sunday, April 12 (her birthday) by attending Mass at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church with a Celebration of Life luncheon to follow.
