Age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, Edward M., Sr. and Cecelia (McGuire); sister, Patricia Brandon (William); brother, Edward M., Jr. (Ellen Jean); and brother, Gerald Jeffrey. Survived by sister-in-law, Jeanellen Flohr. Loving aunt of Kathleen Flohr (Dan Shea), Edward M. III (Kate), Robert, Joanne Natale (Keith), Jesse Flohr (Danielle Billinkoff), and Jenna Flohr (Alex Taylor). Loving great-aunt to Eddie and Tara Flohr. She was a graduate of Saint Rosalia High School and the University of Pittsburgh and was a schoolteacher at Baldwin Whitehall district at Rolling Hills Elementary her entire career. Bernie enjoyed family dinners, followed by a good game of cards. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and other activities with the FLOPS. Bernadette was a long-time member of SS Simon & Jude Church. There will not be a visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christion Burial, 10 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, in SS SImon & Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 1607 Greentree Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
