BERNADETTE M. "BERNIE" (VARGO)
Age 77, passed away, Friday, June 13, 2025. Daughter of the late Joe and Ann Vargo; beloved wife of John C. "Jack" Nusida, Jr.; mother of Mike (fiancée Julie Bercaw) Nusida and Brian (Nicole) Nusida; grandmother of Alexis (Joe) Diehl, Sara Nusida, Meghan Nusida, Joey Nusida and Alice Peck; sister of Sylvia (Barry) Kifus, Joann (the late Joe) Matyus and the late David Vargo. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. Bernadette worked for Dr. Rothenburg for 20 years. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills, on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayers will be held at the funeral home, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish St., Susanna Church, 200 Stotler Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235, at 10 a.m.
