WETZEL

BETTE ANN

Age 100, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Bethel Park, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1924, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Lemuel Rhul Wetzel and Agnes (Pfister) Wetzel.

Bette was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethel Presbyterian Church, and before she retired had a career as a legal secretary. She was a dedicated daughter who cared for both her parents until their deaths.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Lewis R. Wetzel of Bethel Park and her nephew Robert L. Wetzel of Columbia, SC.

Bette is survived by her nephew, Richard A. Wetzel and his wife Carol Lee of Lansdale, PA, their daughters Amanda L. Wetzel of King of Prussia, PA, and Katherine McCarthy and her husband Ryan, and their son Henry David McCarthy, all of Honey Brook, PA, and Linda Wetzel (Robert's wife) and their daughter Jennifer Wetzel of John's Island, SC.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at South Side Cemetery, 1404 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.
