Of Mt. Laurel, NJ, died March 10, 2026. Wife of Dr. Scott Chelemer, formerly of Pittsburgh. Mother of Joshua (Ava) Nakagawa, Elizabeth (Oneil Levesque) Nakagawa, Samuel (Rachel) Chelemer, and Ben Chelemer. Sister of Michael George, Denise Gallant, and the late Jeffrey George. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Services will be live-streamed on plattmemorial.com on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Brenda can be made to The Nature Conservancy, www.preserve.nature.org, or People for the American Way, www.peoplefor.org.
