VANCE

BRIAN

Age 43, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Pittsburgh in 1981, Brian was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose humor and loyalty touched everyone who knew him.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Ava; stepson, Kane, and wife Kristin; his devoted parents, Ken and Vicky; his sister, Jennifer and brothers, Frank and Jake; and stepmother, Linda. He was deeply loved by his family, and his memory will live on in their hearts forever.

A dedicated professional, Brian worked in IT for Guardian Security, where his intelligence, work ethic, and spirit made a lasting impact. Outside of work, he was an avid golfer who cherished time on the course with friends and family.

Brian's greatest joy came from being a father and spending time with his family. His legacy is one of laughter and love.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220.

The family kindly requests that all cards and flowers be sent to the funeral home. In addition, a GoFundMe page has been created to support his kids in Brian's memory, https://gofund.me/f33fb065.

Brian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
