BRUNA V.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Bruna V. (Belle) Sweeney, of Avalon, passed away at the age of 94. Beloved wife of 67 years to the late James A. Sweeney; beloved mother of Robert Richard Sweeney; proceeded in death by sons, Ricky H. Sweeney and Timothy J. Sweeney; grandmother of Alex, Zach and Tim Sweeney II; sister of Nito and the late Gracia. Bruna had been a volunteer with Suburban General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the New-To-You Shop. Friends received Monday, April 28, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
