CARMEN J.
Age 88, of Beechview, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Loving husband of 63 years of Mary Ann Gonot (Pesavento); beloved father of Carolyn Gonot (Jeff Moore), Pamela Diulus (Gregory), C. Joseph Gonot, and Douglas J. Gonot (Kerri); cherished grandfather of Abigail, Dominic, Hannah, Kiera, Grant and Drew; and brother of James Gonot (the late Evalia) and the late Ronald and Joseph Gonot. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Carmen was a life-long educator, starting his career at St. Mary of the Mount School and retiring from Pittsburgh Public Schools. His favorite activities were spending time with family and talking about sports. All are welcome on Monday, June 2, 2025, 2-8 P.M., WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday June 3, 11 A.M., St. Pius X Church, St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, 3040 Pioneer Ave. Entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
