Carol B. Steigerwald, aged 89, of Wexford, PA, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.



Carol was born on February 17, 1936, and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emma Kress; her sister, Shirley Geisler; and her brother, William R. Kress "Ben."



She was the loving wife to William C. Steigerwald for 67 years, whom she married on May 31, 1958. She was the devoted mother to Beth (Toby) Jurecko, Barbara (Gregg) Jurecko and Terri Steigerwald. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Candace, Kerry, Kayleigh, Tess, Amanda, Evan, Maggie and Jordan; and her great-grandchildren, Owen, Collin, Frankie, and Theodore. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.



Carol enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino, bingo, reading, sewing, knitting, and baking. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.



Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 9:00 - Noon, at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, located at 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143. A memorial service to honor her will be held immediately after with lunch to follow.
