Carol D. Biertempfel, age 92, of Shaler Township, on March 21, 2026.
Wife of Paul E. Biertempfel and the late Milton Austin.
Mother of Sharon (Strang) Zook (Ethan) and David Biertempfel (Katherine).
Grandmother of Kristi Strang (David Jackson), Kelly Watson (Ashton), Jake Strang (Jordan), Ashley Watson, John Watson, and Lauren Hallet (Shane).
Great-grandmother of Ashton, Heath, Collins, Palmer, Barrett, Dylan, Scott, Mark, Connor, Madeline, and Owen.
Daughter of the late Carl F. and Mary (DeTemple) Hespenheide.
Sister of Robert and the late Bud, Fritz, Bill, and Jack Hespenheide.
Carol's joy came from her devoted husband, Paul; and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her Thanksgiving feast with her family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
Funeral service Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10 AM at the funeral home.
