CAROL E. (SILL)


Of Bethel Park, formerly of South Park, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, age 89. Beloved wife for 51 years of the late Anthony M. Balistreri; loving mother of Anthony J. Balistreri (Joan), Janet M. Lawson (James) and Lori A. Starr (James); sister of Herbert Sill (Grace) and the late William Sill, Paul Sill, Howard Sill, Robert Sill, Jean Mittenzwey and Ruth Carr; sister-in-law of Harry Carr; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, also many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol was a member of the VFW Post #6664 Ladies Auxiliary and the St. Joan of Arc Choir. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan. Visitation, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (Rt. 88), Library, PA. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Church (Resurrection Parish), Bethel Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VFW #6664 Auxiliary or Bethel Park Meals on Wheels.
