CAROLE JEAN (CICHOSKI)

Carole Jean (Cichoski) Eichner, of Wexford, 66, passed away June 21, 2025, after a long and aggressive 13-month battle with pancreatic cancer. At the time of death, Carole was surrounded by her loving husband, Donald Eichner; and their three children, Michelle Eichner Stewart (Michael), Daniel Eichner (Arianne), and Teresa Eichner (Brian); grandchildren and other family.

Though her children called her mom, it was her grandchildren who named her and cherished her as their Gaga. She loved her grandchildren fiercely, Raymond, Isabelle, Liliana, Georgia, and Eero. As her cancer fight began in May of 2024, her passionate family and friends were affectionately named Gaga's Army. Carole looked forward to spending as much time with her grandchildren as she could. They were truly the light of her life.

Carole had many successes in life, but her love grew for the farm her husband's family owned in Wexford. She and her husband and his siblings rounded out the 4th generation of Eichner's Farm. She was so proud to be a part of it, whether it was in the market or years earlier when she would join her father-in-law, Dick, and her children in the field. She planted, watered, and picked vegetables right alongside them and appreciated every moment. She would even drive the tractor if a situation warranted it.

Carole converted to Catholicism upon marrying Don. Her faith was established as a young child from her mother, Carole Jean Dillon. Carole is survived also by her mother; sisters, Susan Flucker (John), and Sharon Cichoski (Sebastien); brother, Rich Cichoski (Beth); and too many wonderful family and friends to name.

Carole had a deep spiritual connection with her guardian angel, Marissa. It is no surprise how close she was with her angels, as she was always known as an angel on earth. She loved to read her Bible and spend quiet moments in prayer and reflection with God. Carole was always open about her relationship with Jesus, God, and the angels, sharing stories of her own experiences with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are coordinated by the SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME (Franklin Park), 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143. Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 2-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Alexis Church (of St. Aidan Parish), 10090 Old Perry Highway, Wexford, PA, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the Mass at Holy Savior Cemetery in Gibsonia, PA.
