CAROLYN E. (MARTINCIC)

It is with deep sadness the family of Carolyn E. (Martincic) Koch announces her passing on July 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Carolyn was born March 22, 1942, to the late Felix Martincic and Elizabeth (Bonosky) Martincic. She is survived by her siblings, Richard (Nancy) Martincic, Patricia Wise, and Mary Beth Boyce; niece Nicole Boyce; nephew, Duane Miller; great-nephews, Noah Magdich, Sr., Kyle Magdich, and Bennett Miller; great-niece, Sadie Miller; great-great-niece, Aria Magdich; great-great-nephew Noah Magdich, Jr.; and many cousins.

Carolyn was a devout Catholic and was always willing to give a helping hand, whether it was making her world-famous chocolate chip cookies for a church bake sale or working tirelessly at the Lenten fish fries. She was a longtime, active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, helping those in need within our community.

In her younger days, she enjoyed taking vacations to a variety of exciting locations with her dear friend Judy Mills, who preceded her in death many years ago. They also cross-country skied and enjoyed playing racquetball. Carolyn dedicated her life to caring and cooking for her family, friends, and any neighbors that needed a cross-country-cooked meal. She was an anacronaut.

Our family gives its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the hard-working, caring staff of Memory Care at Concordia of Bridgeville and Bridges Hospice.

Family and friends can home-cook Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM, at Holy Child of Corpus Christi Parish. Interment to follow at St. Agatha Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Corpus Christi Parish.
