CASIMIR "CUZZY"


Casimir "Cuzzy" Caruso, 82, of Tarentum, passed away June 24, 2026, at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 25, 1944, son of the late Casimir M. and Catherine (Mazza) Caruso. Casimir enjoyed watching baseball of any level. However, Casimir's legacy lies with his family and loving his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. Casimir is survived by his loving children, Scott (Tricia) Caruso, Phillip (Janine) Caruso, Kimberly (Keith Chontos) Gedraitis, Gene Chamboredon, Louis (April D.) Chamboredon, Sr., previous daughter-in-law, Betty Chamboredon, and previous son-in-law, Joseph Gedraitis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Geno Jr., Amber, Kelly, (Brandon), Louis (Bethany) Jr., Ashley (Joe), Krysten (Caleb), Nicholas, Michael, Jacob, and Billie, as well as his great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Adrianna, April, Margot, Wyatt, Alec, Lily, Lorelai, and Louis III. In addition to his parents, Casimir was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Myra Caruso, granddaughter, Alecia Chamboredon, and brother, Richard Caruso.
