CHARLENE A.

Age 80, of Trafford, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in her home. Charlene was born on December 1, 1944 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Walton) Youngman. Charlene was a prolific artist and educator. She was a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists. She also was a lifelong gardener. At her workplace she was the first woman to wear pants in the office. In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas John Pronio; and her second husband, Charles Irwin Day; her son, Dominic Pronio; and her grandson, Timothy Racko. Charlene is survived by her children, Janine Pifer (Richard "Will" Schwartz) of Cloverdale, OR, and Pamela Pronio-Stevens (Michael Pronio-Stevens) of Mt. Vernon, NY; her grandchildren, John and Thomas Pronio, Melinda and Felicity Racko. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, for a memorial visitation from 6-8 PM, in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130), Trafford, PA, 412-372-3111. A time of remembrance to reflect on Charlene's life will begin at 8 PM following visitation.
