It is with great sadness that the family of Charles "Chuck" T. Bacchus announce his passing on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Libby Bacchus. He was the son of the late Thomas and Helen Bacchus.



He was preceded in death by his siblings, Warren, Glen Bacchus, MiMi Geyer and Carolyn Lightbody.



Chuck was very proud of his children, Karen Evans (Larry Evans, deceased), Judy Bacchus, and Brian Bacchus (Sandy). He was Pop Pop to wonderful grandchildren, Brianna McLane (Darren), Alyssa Bacchus and Troy and Craig Evans. Chuck is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.



Chuck graduated from Shaler High School and within a few years joined the Marines and fought in the Korean War. Once back home, he spent most of his career in Banking. Chuck was kind and loved to make people laugh with his endless jokes. Chuck was a member of Perry Ionic Lodge #796 F&AM. He was also a Past President of N.A.C.O. Caravan #19 and a member of the Scottish Rite.



A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 6, at 11:00 a.m., at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford).


In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospitals, www.shrinerschildrens.org/en/ways-to-give
