CHARLOTTE ANN (SCHENKEL)

Charlotte passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at her son Jim's home early morning on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a long-time resident of Ingram Boro and beloved wife of the late Roy Franklin McGee, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Theodore Charles and Grace Marie Schenkel. Loving mother to Jim (Kim) McGee, Tom (Sue) McGee, Kathy (Len) Rider, and the late Roy F. McGee III and Carol McGee.

In addition to her devotion to family, Charlotte was known for her kindness and commitment to community. She volunteered with the former Ingram Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Aid Association and enjoyed ceramics in her spare time. Prior to her retirement, she was a dedicated school bus driver for more than 30 years, primarily serving special needs children across various school districts in Allegheny County. Her generous spirit and passion for helping others touched countless lives.

She was a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren: Rebeka, James, Christine, Gregg, Jennifer, Robert, Jessica, Leah, and Stacy. She was also a proud great-grandmother of 15, a great-great-grandmother to one, and leaves behind many cherished memories.

Charlotte is survived by her sister, Mildred Stack. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bernadette (Chuck), Grace (Melvin), Chuck (Ann), Rosemary (Jim), Marion, and Dorothy. The love and camaraderie of her siblings enriched her life and remain a lasting part of her story.

Charlottes' warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and community.

Friends received at the HERSHBERGER-STOVER INC. FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. If desired, memorials may be made to Pinnacle Hospice, 2605 Nicholson Rd., Suite 3220, Sewickley, PA 15143.
