CHARLOTTE M. (MURISON)

Age 72, of South Fayette, formerly of Churchill, passed away on May 5, 2026. Loving mother of Charlotte E. "Beth" (Sam) Shaaban and Jonathan B. (Claudia) Sarles, beloved Mimi of Colton, Merrick, Asher and Everett Sarles, daughter of William J. (late Charlotte) Murison, brother of William J. (Myrna) Murison, Jr., Barbara (Jeffrey) Johnson and David (Karen) Murison. Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Char was a 1971 graduate of Churchill H.S. She was commissioned into the Army Nurse Corps following graduation with her BSN Degree from the University of Maryland through the Walter Reed Army Institute of Nursing (WRAIN). She later received her master's degree from Geneva College in 2000. Captain Sarles was a proud US Army Veteran, and she dedicated her life to her nursing profession. She was a devoted and active member of the Bible Chapel, South Hills Campus, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and very involved with the Stephen Ministry. Friends received Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Bible Chapel, South Hills Campus (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment with full military honors will take place Tuesday, May 12, at 2:30 p.m., at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
