CHRISTINE (DEMETRI)

Peacefully fell asleep in the Lord, on Friday, February 28, 2025, Christine D. Dickos, age 97, of Allison Park. Beloved wife of 60 years of the late Dinos Dickos; mother of George (Stacy) Dickos and Francene (James W.) Tucker; grandmother of Christina (Yaniv) Dinur, Dean G. Dickos, Peter G. Dickos and Rebecca (Brandon) Peck; great-grandmother of Josephine Joyce, Alexandra Rachel, Henry Charles and Owen George; sister of the late Gregory (late Mary) Demetri; also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, 3-7 p.m., with Trisagion service at 6 p.m., at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 985 Providence Blvd., Pgh., PA 15237, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m., preceded by Visitation at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity's Cemetery Fund or to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 419 S. Dithridge St., Pgh., PA 15213. As all who knew her witnessed, the loves of her life were her faith and family. Christine took much pleasure working in the Ladies Auxiliary Philoptochos, enjoyed being a part of St. Nicholas' 60 Club and delighted in watching the Steelers (usually!). The Dickos family would especially like to thank the staff and her friends at Cumberland Woods Village and Christine's friend and caregiver, Adele Washington. May her memory be eternal.
