CLAIRE MARY (SULLIVAN)

Age 93, of Upper St. Clair, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, with her family by her side. Claire was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack, who she was married to for over 69 wonderful years; and her oldest son, Jack, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Claire Sullivan; and her brothers, Wynn and Dan. Claire was a loving mother to five children, the late John "Jack" (Donna), Jr. of Bucks County, PA, Kevin (Carma) of Mt. Lebanon, Randy (Mary) of Springfield, VA, Carolyn (Ted) Whitford of Pine Twp., and Diane (Walter) Martin of Upper St. Clair. She was an adoring Grammy to her grandchildren, Christie (Jon), Kerry (Tyler), Laura (Ryan), Julie (Mike), Karl (Cat), Carly, Casey, Corinne, Clay, Anna, Matthew, TJ (Julia), Emma, Tommy, Jack, Sarah, Sean (Paige), and Danny; and her great-grandchildren, Jack, Eliza, William, Annabelle, Isabelle, Emma, Scarlett, Ella, Mia, Julia, Clay (Paige), Eva, and Emme. Claire graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1950 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1954. In addition to raising her large family, she worked in various roles and ultimately joined her husband working in his law firm for many years. Claire was a devout Catholic and proud of her Irish heritage. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and cards, bowling, and attending shows with her husband. But mostly, Claire had a big heart and cherished her family and friends. Claire was warm and stylish, always exuding calm and gentleness. She will be dearly missed by all. Arrangements by BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends are welcome on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Capistran Church, Resurrection Parish, 1610 McMillan Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
