COLIN ROBERT

Colin Robert Scott, late of Cranberry Township, PA, passed away unexpectedly, on October 6, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh to Michael F. and Linda P. Scott on March 16, 1980. Colin had a big heart and his kindness and compassion touched all who were fortunate to know him. Colin's spirit shone strongest in his ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and accepted. He had a bright smile and embraced others with understanding and warmth. His passing leaves an aching beyond measure.

Colin was a 1998 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Xavier University in 2002. He still maintained many early friendships from grade school, high school, and Xavier. Colin was a naturally gifted athlete but was always reluctant to admit it. He loved basketball and was a lifelong sports fan, especially Xavier Basketball, March Madness, Notre Dame Football, and all things Pittsburgh. In college, Colin and his friends (bodies painted blue and white) railed their classmates against the hated Cincinnati Bearcats, their antics captured by the ESPN cameras.

Colin was quiet and initially reserved, so if you met him at a party you would never guess he spent his career in Electronic Sales. As the Sales Manager at Catalyst Unity Solutions, he cherished his work in the electronics industry and the relationships he built with his customers and coworkers. Those who worked alongside Colin know how truly special he was- he listened with care, led with kindness, and made everyone around him feel heard and valued. His steady leadership, compassion, and genuine love for what he did shaped not only the Company culture, but the lives of his colleagues, clients, and customers.

He was adored by his family, leaving behind his loving mother, Linda Scott; and father, Michael Scott; his brother, Michael (Dominique); his cherished niece and Goddaughter, Olivia Michel Scott; and his very new nephew, Cal Dominic Scott. Colin loved animals and the many pets he and his family shared, including Sadie, Barney, Lyla, and most especially his beloved, Cali Mae.

Colin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert C. Kiefer and Lilian Hooper Kiefer; paternal grandparents, William W. Scott, Jr., and Cecilia Bednar Scott; and many close aunts and uncles. Numbered among those Colin loved and who loved him over the course of his life are his surviving uncle, Joseph P. Scott (Cheryle); aunts, Cynthia Scott and Leslie Johnston; and cousins, Amy, Ben, Sara, Matt and Joe.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, from 3-5 p.m. and Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish (St. Killian Church), 70076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

Memorial Gifts may be made to Inspired Hearts and Hands of Cranberry Township, the Butler County Humane Society, and Light of Life Rescue Mission.
