KATZBECK
CONNIE BARKER
Connie Barker Katzbeck, 77, of Gibsonia, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:44 p.m., surrounded by the love of her family and friends after a brief battle with lung cancer.
A graduate of Franklin Regional High School, Connie proudly served as head majorette of the band and twirl team. She later attended secretarial and court reporter school before beginning her lifelong career at Fortune National, which became Luttner Financial Group. There, she worked as an administrative assistant and advisor in the insurance and financial field, meeting her husband, Bill, on May 1, 1969. Connie dedicated nearly her entire professional life to the company, retiring just six months ago at age 77 after decades of working side by side with Bill.
Connie was known for her selfless heart, calm and caring nature, and wonderful sense of humor. She was a devoted wife, mother, and especially a loving and active grandmother. She cherished time with her grandchildren, baking cookies, traveling, gardening with her husband, playing computer puzzle games, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also adored animals, especially her beloved cocker spaniel, Lexie.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Katzbeck; her daughter, Stacie Danzis; her grandchildren, Taylor, Emerson, and Addison Danzis; and her sister-in-law, Marylou Workman.
In accordance with Connie's wishes, an intimate family celebration of life will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Connie will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she gave so freely to all who knew her.
Arrangement by SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., Bakestown, PA.
