Age 89, of Wilkins Township, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2026, with her family by her side. Cindy was born on December 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Russell and Emily Hontz. She was the beloved wife of James M. Lowe, Jr., to whom she was married for 70 years. She is survived by her three children, David Lowe (Edith), Steven Lowe (Laura), and Jennifer Ross (Dan). She was a proud grandmother to Ryan Lowe (Bonnie), Allison Guimera (Daniel), Sadie Lowe, Elaina Lowe, and Hannah Stover (Matt). Great-grandmother to Rayah Keefer, Audra Guimera, Caleb Guimera, and Bailey Stover. She was preceded in her death by her late brother, Clark Hontz; and will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends and neighbors.

Cindy was born in Lehighton, PA, and after moving to the Pittsburgh area, she graduated from Wilkinsburg High School. She was a wonderful mother in every way to her three children and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cindy was a beautiful woman who enjoyed attending her children's sports and enjoyed the love of her family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cindy's name may be made to a charity of your choice.

Friends received, Friday, from 4-7 p.m., at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, where a service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
