DAN MOORE

Dan Moore Bryson, 76, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025. Husband of Nancy (Coleman) for 48 years, they lived together in Plum Borough for 32 years before moving to West Deer Township in 2018.

Son of the late William B. and Lois M. (Moore) Bryson, Dan was born on May 14, 1949, in Painesville, Ohio. He graduated from Harbor High School in Ashtabula, Ohio and from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was recruited on campus by Westinghouse Electric Corporation for their corporate auditing staff and went on to become a Division Accounting Manager and Financial Planning Manager before moving on to serve as Chief Financial Officer for three other corporations. He retired as Chief Operating Officer of a long-term care pharmacy company.

Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Marie Bryson; and is survived by his wife, Nancy; sisters, Barbara Ann Bryson-Hummel, Elizabeth Sue Bryson and Sandra Lee Dolezal and her husband Charles, all of Ohio; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dan enjoyed traveling with his wife, Nancy, to all 50 states, the Caribbean, and several European countries. When not traveling, he valued time at home with Nancy and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Taffy and Cooper. He was always interested in keeping up with world affairs in varied topics ranging from finance and economics to science and politics.

Arrangements by SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, Bakerstown, PA. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Interment will be private.
