Daniel Holthaus, 61 of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away suddenly on May 5, 2026. Beloved husband of Vicki Roth Holthaus. Loving and devoted father of Teddy, Claire and Sophie Holthaus and pet Malkin. A caring brother to Chris Recker and William Holthaus. Devoted son to the late Jean and William Holthaus and son-in-law to Judy Roth and the late Dick Roth. Dan was the happiest when he was around our family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and loyal to his Alma Mater, the UC Bearcats. Dan was the epitome of love and goodness. He was kind to everyone he met and he spent his life helping others. He lived every day by the golden rule. Dan was a partner with Deloitte. He was known for his dedication, integrity and strong work ethic. He had the rare gift of explaining complicated concepts in a way that everyone could understand and comprehend. Services will be held at WEIL KAHN FUNERAL HOME, 8350 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 Monday, May 11, 2026, 1:00 P.M. Visitation begins at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at United Jewish Cemetery of Loveland, 712 Loveland-Miamiville Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140.
