Daniel J. Haefele, age 66, of Observatory Hill, on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Beloved husband for 31 years of Kathy (Payne) Haefele; father of Josh Haefele (Amber); grandfather of Maverick; brother of Bob and Tom Haefele.

Family will welcome friends on Thursday, from 2-8 pm, at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Incarnation of the Lord Church.

Dan had a passion for the outdoors, especially spending time at camp, and deer hunting. He was a proud member of the Sarah Heinz House, and actively participated in the Incarnation of the Lord Church Choir. He spent 25 years in the printing industry. Most recently, he worked at West View Banquet Hall.

In lieu of flower, family suggests donations to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center; UPMC Cancer Pavilion, Suite 1B, 5150 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
