On September 1, 2024, David R. Callen, 70, of Reserve Township, passed away peacefully.
Survived by his brother, Jeffrey N. (Michele) Callen; nephew, Stephen R. Callen; and his Bellefield Presbyterian Church family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Callen.
David was a long time member of the North Pittsburgh Symphonic Band where he played the Bass Clarinet. He had a masters in Music Education and taught himself how to play the Bassoon.
Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Highway.
Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:30 am at Bellefield Presbyterian Church, 4001 Fifth Ave., Pgh., PA 15213.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bellefield Presbyterian Church or the North Pittsburgh Symphonic Band, npsband.org.
