EIFLER

DAVID W.

Age 82, formerly of North Side, currently of Ross Twp., on Monday, July 13, 2026. Beloved husband for 40 years of the late Audrey Eifler.

Loving father of Jeffrey Eifler and Cynthia Obuchowski (Edward); grandfather of Dustin (Kaylyn), Alexis, Nicholas (Ashley), Daniel, Teagan and Colten; brother of Susan Racke (William) and the late Doug Eifler and Dennis Eifler; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For 25 years, he proudly served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, dedicating his career to protecting others with integrity, courage, and compassion. That same sense of duty carried into every part of his life. His greatest accomplishment wasn't found in the uniform he wore or the titles he held-it was the family he loved so deeply, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, humor, and unwavering love.

Family will welcome friends on Sunday, July 19, from 1:00-7:00 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m., in Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Teresa of Avila Church.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to: Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or Light of Life Rescue Mission, 234 Voeghtly St., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
