On Sunday, April 27, 2025, Deborah J. Leonetti, of Avalon, passed away at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Mary Jane (Cammarata) and late Ernest Leonetti; sister of the late Ernest J. Leonetti; aunt of Ernest J (Jill) Leonetti, Ashley Leonetti and Johnnia Leonetti (Josh) Simms; great-aunt of Luke William and Mia Grace Leonetti; niece of Joe (Christine) Cammarata and late aunts and uncles; and survived by many cousins. Nine years ago her beloved cat, Nemo, found a home with Debbie and they shared many happy years together. Debbie graduated from Clarion State College 1973 with a degree in education. She began her long career in the insurance industry in 1976 and worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance until 2009. She was a Supervising Service Representative in the Business Sales Dept. She handled large accounts, mentored co-workers and was well respected by the sales force and her customers. She got her CPCU while at Liberty. Following Liberty Mutual, she joined AON, where she worked as an Associate Broker until she retired in 2020. She made many friends throughout her life and always stayed in touch with both friends and family. Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to a charity of your choice.
