DENNIS "DENNY" A.


Of Forest Hills, age 70, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Kelly Carpenter Dominick for 28 years. Father of Sean McPherson (TK) of Chalfant. Grandfather of MacKenzie and Brodie McPherson. Brother of Cindy Tirpak (Marc Luczywek), Renee Dominick, and the late Alana Alexander. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.



Denny was born in Pittsburgh on October 28, 1954, the son of Valentine Arthur and Elizabeth "Betty" (McAnalley) Dominick; and also his stepmother, Carole Dominick. Denny attended Bishop Boyle High School, where he wrestled and played football. He worked on barges for a time and also owned Lucky Frank's Irish Pub in Braddock. In the later part of his career, he worked as a guard at Torrence State Mental Hospital. He was an avid Nascar and Steeler fan and also played golf and pool. He loved his Irish whiskey and Iron City Beer. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather, uncle, brother, and husband.



Friends and family will be received at WOLFE MEMORIAL, LLC., Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Denny's memory may be given to Syria Shriners,1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, PA 15024.
