MYERS

DENNIS W. "DENNY'

Age 84, of Peters Township, formerly of Upper St. Clair, peacefully passed away, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with his beloved wife, Diane, at his side. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University majoring in mathematics, he worked as a systems engineer for IBM and later BNY Mellon. Denny was a voracious reader, a talented photographer, a computer whiz, and avid family videographer and genealogist. He also acted in many community theater productions with Diane at the Robert Morris Colonial Theater. Foremost, he was a loving, devoted and present husband and father, who never missed a game or recital during his daughters' school years.

Denny was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Howard Whitmore and Edith Pauline (Hornbaker) Myers. He is survived by his wife, Diane Myers, formerly Diane Pelger; his daughters, Samantha Young of Ashburn, Virginia and Laura Myers of Germantown, Maryland; grandchildren, Aubrey Young and Jack Young of Ashburn, Virginia; his sister-in-law, Deborah (Gary) Gushard of Allison Park, PA; brother-in-law, William Pelger of Munhall, PA; nephew, Gregory Gushard of Pittsburgh, PA; and his beloved black cat, Charley.

Denny had a great sense of humor, a quick dry wit and was always there to help a technophobe in need. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Friday, December 12, 2025, 10 A.M.-12 P.M., where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 P.M.
